Faculty members across the George R. Brown School of Engineering and the Weiss School of Natural Sciences at Rice University responded quickly to an PPE donation drive coordinated by Prof. Qilin Li in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. A large number of PPE including gloves, masks, and disposable lab coats, and relevant COVID-19 testing supplies have been collected. UTHealth received the first batch of donated supplies on April 1. The effort is continuing and will help other institutions in the TMC.
